Edition 2025 — Easter Egg Market Schleife
The 26th Sorbian Easter Egg Market took place in March 2025 at the Sorbian Cultural Centre Schleife. As every year, egg painters from all over Lusatia showcased their works and techniques; the egg painting workshop and the Sorbian folklore program rounded off the market.
The 26th edition traditionally gathered egg painters from the Schleife parish, the Hoyerswerda region, and all of Upper and Lower Lusatia. Wax batik numerically dominated, complemented by wax embossing, scratching techniques, and some etched works.
