Sonnwendfeier Fürstenstein

In 2025, the municipality of Fürstenstein again celebrated its Sonnwendfeier around the summer solstice. SV Fürstenstein lit the Sonnwendfeuer at the sports grounds, and SV Oberpolling invited guests to the Sonnwendfest at the sports field in the Oberpolling district. With campfire romance, hearty refreshments, and convivial get-togethers, locals and guests gathered on warm June evenings. The festival, voluntarily organised by the sports clubs, once again confirmed the community's connection to tradition and homeland in the Passau region.
