SonneMondSterne 2025 once again gathered around 40,000 electronic music fans at the Bleiloch Reservoir. Three days and nights of Techno, House, and Hip-Hop turned Saalburg Beach into the main stage of the German festival season – featuring international headliners and the typical SMS blend of lakeside festival and open-air club.
SMS 2025 in Review
In 2025, SonneMondSterne in the Saale-Orla district once again attracted around 40,000 visitors from across Europe. Several stages at Saalburg Beach presented a packed lineup of Techno, House, Hip-Hop, and Electro – the festival's hallmark for almost 30 years.
Camping by the reservoir, swimming between sets, and the iconic location between forests and water once again contributed to the festival's appeal. The 2025 edition is considered well-attended and logistically smooth.
