Overview

The 182nd edition of the Sonneberger Vogelschießen from July 5th to 13th, 2025, was one of the most well-attended folk festivals in the city. Nine days of shooting festival and folk festival at Schießhausplatz with amusement rides, a festival tent, live music, bird shooting by the Privileged Shooting Society, and grand fireworks.

Review 2025 — 182nd Edition

The Privileged Shooting Society Schießhaus Sonneberg 1851 e. V. organized the 182nd edition of the Vogelschießen in 2025. Sunny weather and a well-structured program ensured full festival tent evenings and well-attended amusement rides. The bird shooting and the crowning of the new shooting king remained highlights of the season, which ended with a grand fireworks display on the festival Sunday.
