The Sonneberg Town and Museum Festival 2025 once again transformed the town centre of the toy city into a three-day festival mile. A lantern procession, concerts, a family programme, and the traditional 'Heimatshoppen' Sunday created the typical September atmosphere around the German Toy Museum.
Sonneberg Town and Museum Festival 2025 – Review
In 2025, the Stadt- und Museumsfest once again attracted thousands of visitors to Sonneberg's town centre. The festival mile from Woolworth-Platz to the German Toy Museum offered three days of events: opening beer tapping, evening lantern procession, concerts, stilt walkers and hands-on activities, Sunday with extended shopping hours and local shopping ('Heimatshoppen'). The organiser is the City of Sonneberg.
