The 2025 summer theater season of Zimmertheater Rottweil at the Bockshof continued the tradition of open-air fairy tale productions. Performances in the setting of the medieval powder tower and city wall once again attracted visitors from the entire Black Forest-Baar region and the Upper Neckar.
Summer Theater 2025 — Fairy Tales in the Bockshof
Already in 2025, Zimmertheater Rottweil presented its summer theater season in the historic Bockshof, with productions for families and adult audiences. The blend of traditional fairy tale material, careful ensemble work under the artistic direction of Peter Staatsmann, and the unique atmosphere of the open-air stage beneath the powder tower made the summer performances a firm fixture of Rottweil's summer cultural program. Visitors came from the entire Black Forest-Baar district, the Neckar Valley, and the Black Forest — open-air theater with a historic backdrop, as found in few places in Southern Germany.
