The 14th edition in 2025 once again brought tens of thousands of visitors to Solingen's Neumarkt. Tribute and cover bands dominated the main stage, and the family day on Sunday rounded off the weekend. Free admission — the concept proved its worth again in its 14th year.
In 2025, the Sommerparty took place as usual over an August weekend on the Neumarkt. Three days of open-air music, from tribute concerts to family entertainment, provided the familiar mix of a community festival and concert event.
The Initiativkreis Solingen e.V. once again organized the festival with volunteer efforts in 2025 — sponsors from Solingen's business community, city marketing funds, and catering revenue made financing possible. Free admission remained a firm part of the concept.
