Overview

In 2025, the Michelau-Altmannsdorf winegrowers' association once again organized the Sommernachtsmärchen in the vineyards near Prüßberg. For two summer evenings, guests from the Steigerwald, the Würzburg region, and all of Franconia flocked to the vineyards to experience Franconian wines, live music, and the torchlight hike with wine tasting.

The 2025 edition of the Fränkisches Sommernachtsmärchen remained true to the proven format: wine service among the vines, snacks from the region, live music under the open sky, and the obligatory torchlight hike with wine tasting at dusk. Two evenings showcasing the wine culture of the Steigerwald in its most convivial form.

The Michelau-Altmannsdorf winegrowers' association is considered one of the most active small associations in the Franconian wine region – the Sommernachtsmärchen is its flagship event, complemented by other annual events such as the "Brunnenschoppen" (wellside drink).
