Overview

The Sommernachtskino Tübingen 2025, as usual, ran for five weeks in the courtyard of the Technical Town Hall in Ammerpark. The Tübingen Cinemas group once again brought a carefully curated mix of niche films and box-office successes under the open sky. The film program was accompanied by pre-show events featuring theater, cabaret, and music. One of southern Germany's most distinguished open-air cinema series since 1992.

The 2025 edition continued the tradition established in 1992: five weeks of open-air cinema under the trees of Ammerpark, with a daily changing film program and an artistic accompanying program of theater, cabaret, and live music. The Tübingen Cinemas group curated the film program — a mix of arthouse, international festival successes, classics, and mainstream hits.

As every year, the ticket included travel on the Naldo network — a service that makes public transport particularly attractive. The venue with its 400 seats was sold out for many screenings, especially on the balmy summer evenings in July.
