Edition 2025 — Summer Night Open Air Kassel
The Summer Night Open Air of the Kassel State Orchestra in 2025 took place in August on the Karlswiese / Hessenkampfbahn in the Karlsaue. General Music Director Ainārs Rubiķis conducted a program of popular classical pieces. Admission 6 p.m., concert start 7:30 p.m., seated, standing, and picnic spots.
The open-air concert is part of the annual summer concert program of the Kassel State Orchestra. Organizers: Kassel State Orchestra, Kassel Marketing GmbH, and MM Konzerte GmbH. As in 2026, the concert evening featured an open-air atmosphere, a blanket-and-picnic area for families, and an accessible, non-strictly conventional concert format.
