Overview
The 22nd edition of the Sommerfestival der Kulturen took place in July 2025 over six days around Stuttgart's Marktplatz, in Kirchstraße, and on Schillerplatz. International world music acts, a Market of Cultures with around 70 (post-)migrant associations, and a family program — the proven program structure of Forum der Kulturen Stuttgart e.V. attracted a large audience from the city and region, as in previous years. Free admission.
2025 — Six Days of Stuttgart as a Global Stage
The 22nd edition in 2025 confirmed the Sommerfestival der Kulturen as Southern Germany's most important intercultural summer event. On two stages, world music acts from numerous countries alternated, the Market of Cultures brought together Stuttgart's diaspora associations for a rich mix of cuisine, crafts, advice, and encounters. The weekend featured a special family focus on Sunday morning. As always, admission was free on all days.
