Event Schedule
Afternoon
Opening of the Summer Festival by the fraternity's board at the marksmen's grounds. Welcome to guests, opening of the barbecue station and drinks service. First games and craft activities for children.
Late Afternoon
Coffee and cake from the bakery of fraternity members. Social gathering with families, encounters between fraternity members and guests from the Brohltal valley. Possible demonstrations or shooting practice for interested parties.
Evening
Barbecue evening with sausages, steaks, and vegetarian options. Musical accompaniment by a DJ set or live music. Dancing in the festival tent or under the open sky.
Late Evening
Continuation of the social gathering, winding down of the festival in the late evening. Clean-up by fraternity members.

St. Hubertus Marksmen Niederzissen
The St. Hubertus Marksmen Niederzissen are a traditional fraternity in the Brohltal valley. Dedicated to St. Hubertus, the patron saint of hunters and marksmen, it preserves the marksmen's traditions in this predominantly Catholic region. The club's activities include shooting practice, competitions, the annual Whit Sunday Marksmen Festival with the King's Shoot, the Summer Festival, and the St. Hubertus Festival in November.
Summer Festival as a Social Gathering
While the Whit Sunday Marksmen Festival, with its festive church service, parade, and King's Shoot, has a solemn character, the Summer Festival is entirely dedicated to socialising.
