Edition 2025 — Sommerfest Schönwald
The MV-KK Schönwald Sommerfest 2025 took place at the end of July at the Schönwald open-air pool, confirming the established club festival format of brass music, catering, and Hochschwarzwald atmosphere. The Musikverein-Kuckucksklub Schönwald and friendly clubs from the Schwarzwald-Baar Brass Music Association characterized the day — a classic summer festival of the German Hochschwarzwald.
Sommerfest 2025 — Club Idyll
In 2025, the Sommerfest at the open-air pool proceeded smoothly. The catering in club attire, the alternating performances by various Hochschwarzwald music clubs, and the swimming in the pool for families — everything followed the familiar rhythm. The atmosphere was relaxed as always, without haste, with long stays at the beer tables amidst the fir trees.
Schönwald also uses the festival as a tourist magnet — many summer guests from surrounding guesthouses and holiday homes stop by to experience the regional music culture. The MV-KK is a respected entity within the Hochschwarzwald club network and uses the annual proceeds for instruments, sheet music, and youth development.
