Edition 2025 — Ringreiten Husum
In 2025, the Husumer Ringreitergilde von 1826 also held its summer festival at the Alte Freiheit in the Schlosspark. Ringreiten competitions, a parade through the city center, receptions at the guild house and town hall, and the ceremonial proclamation of the King/Queen — one of Husum's central traditional events.
The 2025 edition followed the established two-day schedule: Saturday morning gathering at the castle, reception at the town hall, start of competitions at 2:00 PM. Sunday morning final rounds, with the proclamation of the new Queen / King in the afternoon. As every year, friendly guilds from North Frisia participated. With the 2025 summer festival, the guild prepared for the grand 200th anniversary in 2026.
