Edition 2025 — Sommerfest DRK Heimsheim

In 2025, the DRK local association Heimsheim also held its traditional summer festival at the DRK home on Schulstraße. Members, neighbors, and Heimsheim residents gathered for catering with an afternoon cake buffet and an evening barbecue — a proven community festival that serves as a meeting point for the Heimsheim neighborhood year after year.

Sommerfest DRK Heimsheim 2025

The summer festival of the DRK local association Heimsheim was held in 2025, as usual, on the second weekend of June at the DRK home on Schulstraße. The catering with cake, coffee, barbecue, and drinks attracted members, families, and neighbors to the outdoor area — a classic community festival that has proven successful in its format for years.

The event serves a dual purpose for the local association: it creates visibility for volunteer commitment and finances part of the association's work through its proceeds. A typical example of the small-scale yet effective community landscape that shapes the summer in many small Swabian towns.
