In 2025, the Bredeney Summer Festival once again secured its place in Essen's summer calendar. Two days of neighborhood festival, well-attended by families from Bredeney and surrounding districts, with the familiar mix of street food, family entertainment, and live music.

In 2025, the summer festival took place as usual on a weekend in June in the parking lot at Meisenburgstraße/Grashofstraße. Residents from Bredeney and neighboring districts came to a neighborhood festival that has proven its format: nothing sensational, but everything that allows neighbors to celebrate together.

Bredeney Aktiv/Attraktiv organized the festival voluntarily again. The street food stalls, the stage, the children's program, and the bull riding were part of the concept as always. Free admission.
