Overview
With the 2025 Summer and Flower Festival, the town of Gartz (Oder) started a new festival tradition. Citizens and guests from the surrounding area gathered in the market square for the opening by Mayor Luca Piwodda and the ceremonial crowning of the 1st Gartz Flower Queen. Around the market square, stalls from local clubs, gardeners, artisans, and Uckermark producers were set up; on stage, bands, dance groups, and a family program alternated. The format immediately established itself as a summer highlight of the town — a point of identification between the Oder, the gardens, and the Uckermark.
