Sommer Open Air Ickern — Edition 2025

Before the Premiere

In 2025, the Sommer Open Air Ickern had not yet taken place. Rock Café Q focused in 2025 on its established activities — open-stage evenings for young bands, concerts within the café's framework, community-based youth and cultural work under the leadership of Frank Ronge. In parallel, planning began for its first own open-air festival on the church square (Kirchplatz) of Christuskirche Ickern — a logistically and conceptually ambitious expansion of the project. The July 11, 2026 edition is the premiere of this volunteer-run neighborhood festival.
