Looking Back at 2025
The fifth edition of "Sommer in Lauf" from July 11 to 25, 2025, concluded with a positive balance: approximately 2,000 visitors, 12 well-attended and frequently sold-out events, and six films at the arteschock summer cinema, which were almost fully booked.
Program Highlights
The opening on Friday, July 11, at 6 PM in the Spitalhof began with a reception. The evening was musically accompanied by Sheynhoven with Klezmer and Balkan sounds, and from 7:30 PM, The Unusual Suspects played pop, soul, rock, and blues.
On Wednesday, July 16, the 5th Lauf Summer Literature Days "Lesen unterm Sternenhimmel" commenced. The kickoff featured Martina Bogdahn reading from her novel "Mühlensommer." At the Poetry Slam, Hannah Haberberger (previous year's winner) and three other artists competed, alongside non-competing emerging talents from Lauf's CJT-Gymnasium.
The festival concluded with the sing-along concert Hopp Sing. The arteschock summer cinema screened six films – comedies, romances, and heartwarming stories.
