The 17th edition in 2025 once again brought thousands of visitors to Solingen. The four manufactories Güde, Herder, Kretzer, and Becker presented their live production, and the LVR Industrial Museum was a popular meeting point for families. Factory sales with generous discounts ensured full bags at the end of the day.
In 2025, the Cutlery Saturday once again followed the established format on the first Saturday in September. Thousands of visitors came from the Rhineland, the Ruhr area, the Bergisches Land, and some from abroad — Solingen blades continue to enjoy a worldwide reputation.
Live production ran at the four locations, the LVR Industrial Museum once again attracted numerous first-time visitors, and the factory sales ensured corresponding revenues. The event has established itself as a fixture in Solingen's annual calendar.
