Overview

The Soest Christmas Market 2025 took place as usual for about four weeks in the historic old town of the Hanseatic City of Soest. Approximately 100 stalls, a nativity scene exhibition in St. Patrokli, Bockbier service, Advent tower music, and the Christkind-Engel are fixed components.

The Soest Christmas Market 2025 ran from late November until just before Christmas in the historic old town of the Hanseatic City of Soest. The approximately 100 stalls populated the market square, Petrikirchplatz, Vreithof, and Brüderstraße. Sales of Advent decorations, regional handicrafts, wooden toys, felt items, Soest Stollen, and Pumpernickel specialities. Food and drink included Soester Bockbier, Grünkohl mit Mettwurst, potato pancakes, mulled wine, and children's punch. As every year, the nativity scene exhibition in St. Patrokli church attracted many thousands of additional visitors from the second weekend of Advent onwards. The market had been awarded "Excellent European Christmas Market" in 2024 — and remained a tourist destination with supra-regional appeal in 2025.
