The 20th anniversary edition of slowUp Hochrhein 2025 took place in June 2025 — despite heat and severe thunderstorms, organizers counted 25,000 participants. Local bands performed on an open-air stage in Laufenburg, but the last performance had to be cut short due to heavy rain.

The anniversary edition — 20 years of slowUp Hochrhein — took place under difficult meteorological conditions: heat in the morning, severe thunderstorms in the afternoon. Nevertheless, organizers counted 25,000 participants, demonstrating the strength of the format. At the festival locations in Bad Säckingen, Murg, Laufenburg/Baden, and Laufenburg/Switzerland, local bands played, clubs offered refreshments, and rental stations provided bikes.
