Overview

The 2025 Sixtach weekend took place on August 2nd and 3rd in Hettstadt. On Saturday, the Milchhäuslesfest by SG Hettstadt 1904 and the Carnival Club opened the weekend, followed on Sunday by the traditional Sixtach with a festive church service in St. Sixtus at 9 AM and the subsequent festival mile of all clubs on the forecourt of the Herzog-Hedan-Halle.

The 2025 Sixtach weekend was celebrated on the first weekend of August, August 2nd and 3rd, in Hettstadt.

The traditional opening on Saturday evening was the Milchhäuslesfest on the forecourt of the Herzog-Hedan-Halle — organized by the Sportgemeinschaft Hettstadt 1904 e.V. and the local Carnival Club. With live music and catering, the festival provided a youthful and cheerful start.

On Sunday, August 3rd, 2025, the actual Sixtach followed: Festive church service at 9:00 AM in the Catholic parish church of St. Sixtus, followed from 10:00 AM by the festival mile of all clubs in front of the Herzog-Hedan-Halle. The sports departments, the music band, the parish, and the Carnival Club jointly organized the Sunday — a typical Main Franconian Patron Saint's Festival that brought together the citizens of Hettstadt and their guests from the Würzburg area in one place.
