Overview

The 6th SiLi-Fichtelgebirge Mountain Bike Marathon was held on July 13, 2025, in Warmensteinach. Hundreds of mountain bikers from Southern Germany started the two distances (25 km and 50 km). The organizer remained WSV Oberwarmensteinach.

In 2025, the SiLi Marathon again attracted a broad field of ambitious amateur riders and licensed racers. The Cube Cup classification and the Upper Franconian MTB Marathon Championship ensured a high-quality starting field; the challenging course through the Fichtelgebirge provided sporting differentiation.

The event has grown since its inception and is now one of the five most important mountain bike marathons in Upper Franconia. The Wintersportverein Oberwarmensteinach uses the revenue to finance investments in local winter sports infrastructure.
