Overview

In 2025, Sietow once again invited to its harbor festival on the Müritz. The summery village festival combined the performance of a shanty choir with a colorful children's program, fire department demonstrations, and an evening disco with a laser show – a convivial festival on the largest lake in Northern Germany.

The Sietow Harbor Festival is one of the regular summer events on the banks of the Müritz. In 2025, the Sietow harbor was once again the scene of celebration, traditionally on the last weekend of July.

As in subsequent years, a family program was the focus during the day: the Plauer Seemänner shanty choir provided maritime sounds, children enjoyed puppet theater, a bouncy castle, a children's show, and creative workshops, and the fire department gave demonstrations. In the evening, a disco with a laser show took over the festival grounds. The festival confirmed its character as a convivial village festival of the Mecklenburg Lake District.
