Overview

In the summer of 2025, the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival took place with over 200 events — the World Music focus was also prominently featured. Concerts with African and West African artists on the Krusenkoppel open-air stage established the format, which continues with Sona Jobarteh's performance in 2026.

SHMF 2025 — Open-Air Classical and World Music

The 2025 edition combined classical chamber music, grand symphony concerts, and world music programs at various venues throughout Schleswig-Holstein. The Krusenkoppel open-air stage was among the festival's most festive stages and hosted several open-air highlights.

Previous Program

The concept of presenting international world music stars in the extraordinary atmosphere of the Krusenkoppel was realized in 2025 with various artists — Sona Jobarteh's performance in 2026 continues this programming line.
