SHMF Music Festival “A Weekend in the Countryside" — Gut Emkendorf

The 2025 edition once again brought two days of classical and crossover music to the stately Gut Emkendorf near Bordesholm. In the large barn, one-hour concerts alternated, while in the opposite cowshed from 1730, food and drinks were served, and on the paths of the landscape garden, the walking acts played with their subtle humor.

The SHMF Music Festivals in the Countryside have been the festival's signature format for years — they combine classical music with the charm of historic country estates and are appreciated by audiences as relaxed summer weekends. Emkendorf is one of the regular venues.
