In the summer of 2025, the SHMF held a classical chamber music concert at St. Bartholomew's Church in Wesselburen — part of the festival's annual outreach strategy to integrate rural venues into the large-scale SHMF programme. The marsh church has been one of the festival's valued venues on the west coast for years.
SHMF in Wesselburen 2025
In 2025, St. Bartholomew's Church in Wesselburen was once again the venue for an SHMF concert. The acoustics of the church and its proximity to the Hebbel Museum make the town an atmospheric summer location on the west coast of Schleswig-Holstein.
