Overview

During the SHMF summer of 2025, the Elbeforum Brunsbüttel again hosted several concerts from the festival program. Classical music, chamber music, and crossover programs attracted hundreds of classical music enthusiasts from western Schleswig-Holstein and the Hamburg region to the cultural center on the Lower Elbe.

The Elbeforum Brunsbüttel was also a regular venue for the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival in the SHMF year 2025. In the Great Hall with 800 seats, selected concerts provided classical summer highlights: chamber music, solo recitals, and programs with big bands or vocal ensembles found their way to the lock city. The cooperation between the festival and the Elbeforum, existing since 1994, underscores the SHMF's ambition to make classical music accessible in all regions of Schleswig-Holstein, beyond major cities like Lübeck, Kiel, and Hamburg.
