Edition 2025 — Harbour Festival Senftenberg
The 11th edition of the Senftenberg Harbour Festival in 2025 took place on August 2 and 3 at the Stadthafen. Two stages, Lusatia Market, Kirmes, and the traditional fireworks display on Saturday evening offered the usual programme. Cultural contribution €3/day.
In 2025, the Harbour Festival once again confirmed its status as the largest Volksfest in Southern Brandenburg. The mix of traditional city festival components (Kirmes, market, fireworks) and contemporary music programming (second stage with electronic DJs) attracts regular visitors and new guests from all over Lusatia.
The city of Senftenberg also uses the festival as a marketing tool for the Lausitzer Seenland — images of the harbour and fireworks over the lake are ideal carriers of the message for the region's tourism development.
