Overview
The 54th edition of Sehsüchte took place from 23 to 27 April 2025 at the Filmuniversität Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF. As every year, the festival presented an international programme of student films — feature films, documentaries, animation and advertising films — in five competition categories.
Sehsüchte 2025 continued the tradition kept up since 1972: an international film festival run entirely by students with films from film schools worldwide. The festival is an established launch pad for young filmmakers into the European and international film market.
