See in Flammen 2025 – Rain and Fireworks

On August 2nd, 2025, "See in Flammen" on the Altmühlsee entered another edition. The weather didn't always cooperate – rain created a special atmosphere without dampening the party mood. Live music started at 7 p.m. at the Seezentrum Schlungenhof (Michael Fischer on the main stage), Surfzentrum Schlungenhof, and Seezentrum Wald.

The Spectacle

Precisely at 10 p.m., the torch swimmers of the Seewacht began their choreographed performance, followed by the parade of illuminated sailboats and the brightly lit MS Altmühlsee. The highlight at 10:45 p.m. was the baroque aerial fireworks with music over the lake – choreographed pyrotechnics with baroque musical accompaniment, which thrilled audiences even in the rain. The regional press reported it as one of the most beautiful editions in recent years.
