Overview

Schwörmontag 2025 fell on July 21st and followed the established format: the Lord Mayor's oath ceremony at 11:00 AM at the Schwörhaus, the Nabada Danube parade at 4:00 PM, the Volksfest on Friedrichsau, the Civic Festival in the old town, and the oath concert. As every year, thousands of spectators lined the Danube banks.

Schwörmontag 2025 in Ulm/Neu-Ulm followed the established choreography: the oath ceremony by Ulm's Lord Mayor on July 21st at 11:00 AM from the Schwörhaus balcony on Weinhof, followed by the Nabada in the afternoon at 4:00 PM. Hundreds of boats and rafts drifted down the Danube between Neu-Ulm and Ulm — many with elaborate, satirical themed decorations.

The 2025 Schwörwoche offered, as usual, the Candlelight Serenade, oath concerts, jousting on the water, the Volksfest on Friedrichsau, and the Civic Festival in the old town. The medieval tradition — the Lord Mayor's oath to the city constitution of 1397 — was thus continued uninterrupted.
