The 49th edition of the Schwetzinger Mozartfest took place in autumn 2025 at Schwetzingen Palace, once again bringing together the international elite of chamber music in the Rococo Theatre and the palace halls. Mozart opera, chamber concerts by renowned ensembles, and piano recitals characterized the festival weeks. Organizer: Mozartgesellschaft Schwetzingen e.V. The 2025 edition served as a prelude to the 50th anniversary in 2026.
2025 — The Second-to-Last Year Before the Anniversary
The 49th edition in 2025 maintained the festival series' high curatorial standard. The annual Mozart opera production was staged in the Rococo Theatre, while chamber concerts in the palace halls featured first-class ensembles, and the piano program offered solo recitals by international artists.
