Edition 2025 — Dragon Boat Festival Schwerin
The Schwerin Dragon Boat Festival 2025 took place from August 22nd to 24th on the Pfaffenteich. Around 95 teams from all over Germany competed in the races, and a grand fireworks display crowned the festival weekend on Saturday evening.
From August 22nd to 24th, 2025, the Schwerin Dragon Boat Festival took place on the Pfaffenteich. Around 95 teams started on the 200 and 1,000-meter courses, competing for the Grand Prize of Schwerin and the Master's Cup.
As every year, the grand fireworks display on Saturday evening around 10:45 PM delighted the numerous spectators on the shore promenades. Live music, culinary delights, and family activities rounded off the weekend in the heart of the state capital of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
