Edition 2025 — Castle Festival Weekend
In 2025, the Schwerin Castle Festival Weekend once again attracted numerous visitors to the castle. The Son et Lumière laser show, the Historical Castle Festival, and the Open State Parliament Day formed the three program pillars of the festival weekend.
The Schwerin Castle Festival Weekend was also a highlight of the summer event season in the state capital of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in 2025. The evening light and laser show impressively staged the facade of Schwerin Castle.
The Historical Castle Festival with over 150 costumed participants and the Open State Parliament Day rounded off the weekend, celebrating the residential ensemble, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2024.
