Overview

The 238th edition of the Schweinfurter Vogelschuss took place in spring 2025 on the Volksfestplatz Niederwerrner Straße. As every year, the Marksmen's Guild opened the Volksfest with a parade, and the reigning 'Vogelkönig' fired the first shot. The opening fireworks were once again among the crowd pullers.

238th Edition of the Vogelschuss

The spring 2025 edition took place in the week after Easter and once again brought tens of thousands of visitors to the Volksfestplatz on Niederwerrner Straße. The Schweinfurt Marksmen's Guild 1432 conducted the traditional Vogelschuss, and a new 'Vogelkönig' was crowned on the last day of the festival.

The festival tent was open on all ten days, and around 50 showmen offered rides and food stalls. The grand opening fireworks and Children's Day with discounts on rides were once again among the highlights of the Lower Franconian festival calendar.
