In 2025, the Schwedt Oktoberfest also took place on the last weekend of September on the market square. As every year since 1995: festival tent, party bands, carousels, and the traditional fireworks display on Saturday evening.

The Schwedt Oktoberfest is a fixture of the Uckermark capital's event calendar. For three decades, it has marked the transition from summer to autumn and is a meeting place for locals from Schwedt, the Uckermark region, and guests from the Polish border area.
