Edition 2025 — Schwahlmarkt Schleswig
The 2025 Schwahlmarkt took place in the cloister of Schleswig Cathedral. Over nine Advent days, artisans from Schleswig-Holstein and Danish Sønderjylland presented jewelry, ceramics, wooden toys, and Christmas decorations. The proceeds, as always, went to the preservation of the cathedral.
In 2025, the Schwahlmarkt once again attracted its regular visitors from Schleswig, Flensburg, and the Danish border region. The nearly 700-year-old vaults of Schleswig Cathedral provided the perfect setting for an arts and crafts offering that ranks among the region's best markets in terms of quality and concentration. The market was traditionally opened by the Provost and the Mayor.
