Overview

The Wethmar Schützenfest 2025 traditionally took place over the Pentecost weekend. Four days of festival tent program with king's shooting, parade, Schützenball, and coronation ball — in the usual format of the Schützen-Verein Wethmar von 1900 e.V., with a large audience from the Lünen district and neighboring clubs.

The Wethmar Schützenfest 2025 followed the established four-day format on Pentecost weekend. Opening on Thursday with a ceremony and dance evening, Schützenball on Friday, king's shooting on Saturday with proclamation of the new king and queen, parade on Pentecost Sunday through the Wethmar district with a subsequent morning pint and coronation ball in the evening. The Schützenfest thus remained a reliable anchor in club life and in the calendar of the city of Lünen in 2025 — a bridge between generations and an occasion to celebrate with neighboring clubs.
