Edition 2025 — Schützenfest Wenden
In 2025, the St. Severinus Schützenbruderschaft Wenden again invited to the three-day Schützenfest in Schönau-Altenwenden. Bird shooting, a parade, and the King's celebration followed the established tradition of the Olpe Sauerland.
Already in 2025, the Schützenfest in Schönau-Altenwenden attracted hundreds of people from the Sauerland region to the two Wendener districts. The St. Severinus Schützenbruderschaft continued its tradition, documented since 1460. The festival was musically accompanied, as usual, by the Musikverein „Treue" Ottfingen and the Spielmannszug Wenden.
