Waldhausen Marksmen's Festival 2025
As every year, the St. Antonius Schützenbruderschaft Waldhausen 1870 held its marksmen's festival on the May 1st weekend in 2025. The three-day program, featuring a parade through the district, bird shoot, king's shoot, and coronation ball, offered the proven format of one of the oldest continuously active brotherhoods on the Lower Rhine.
Christoph Kussmann (standard bearer) emerged as the new king from the competition with the 161st shot — together with his Queen Lina Schnurbus, he represents the brotherhood in the festival year 2025/2026 and will once again be the focus of the event at the 2026 marksmen's festival.
