Edition 2025 — Schützenfest Sümmern
The Schützenfest of the St. Sebastian 1842 e.V. marksmen's association took place in 2025, as usual, on the last weekend of July — four days of festival tent, king's shooting, coronation ball, and a grand parade through Sümmern and Griesenbrauck. Thousands of visitors from the Märkischer Kreis district and surrounding areas celebrated together.
Schützenfest 2025 in Sümmern
The marksmen of Sümmern celebrated their traditional Schützenfest in 2025 on the last weekend of July on the Hermannshöhe. As every year, the king's shooting on Saturday was the central event, followed by the grand parade on Sunday through both districts.
The marksmen's association, with its over 180-year tradition, is one of the most vibrant clubs in eastern Iserlohn — the festival tent, balls, and morning pint were accordingly well-attended throughout the four days.
