Overview
In 2025, the St. Johannes Shooting Brotherhood of Delbrück also celebrated its traditional Schützenfest. Bird shooting, a parade, and the king proclamation marked the weekend at the Schützenplatz at Haustenbach. The citizens of Delbrück and friendly brotherhoods from the Paderborn district participated in the parade through the town center.
The 2025 Schützenfest followed the classic pattern: Opening on Saturday with the assembly of companies and the coronation ball, Sunday featured the grand parade through Delbrück with a shooters' mass and the coronation of the new royal couple, and Monday was a family day with a children's program.
In 2025, the St. Johannes Brotherhood once again continued the centuries-old shooting tradition that characterizes the Westphalian Heiderücken.
