Overview
The 2025 Schützenfest took place, as usual, on the Whitsun weekend. The focus was on the bird shooting and the coronation of the new Schützenkönig (King). The Bürgerschützengilde Selm-Beifang continues a tradition maintained for generations in the rural district.
With the success of 2025, the format was confirmed unchanged for 2026 – Generalausmarsch in April, main festival on Whitsun. The Bürgerschützengilde maintains a lively club life with year-round shooting evenings at the Bork dual-purpose hall.
