Schützenfest 2025 — Two Years After the Anniversary

After the spectacular 200th-anniversary celebration in 2023, the Schützenverein 1823 Pelkum has returned to its classic festival rhythm. The 2025 edition took place in July with the usual festival schedule in and around the Bürgerhalle Pelkum: dance night, parade, competition, crowning. The club's tradition of over two centuries remains alive — carried by generations of Pelkum shooting families.

The proven festival weekend with a dance night, parade, determination of the king, and King's Ball once again brought Pelkum's civic society together in and around the Bürgerhalle. The Pelkum brass band, local catering, and sister shooting clubs from the Hamm area ensured the typical Westphalian-civic atmosphere that has characterized shooting traditions for generations.
