Edition 2025 — Schützenfest Osterwick
The 2025 Schützenfest in Osterwick saw Torsten Gauselmann emerge as the new King. Three days of festive procession, King's shooting, dance evenings, and coronation in the marquee — the Schützenbruderschaft Ss. Fabian und Sebastian Osterwick once again confirmed the vitality of its tradition in the municipality of Rosendahl.
The 2025 Schützenfest of the Osterwick shooting brotherhood followed the established format: opening dance evening on Saturday, festive procession on Sunday, King's shooting on Monday with coronation. Torsten Gauselmann was crowned King for the 2025/2026 season — he led the royal court until the 2026 King's shooting. The previous year, 2024, Thomas Blakert held the title. The brotherhood meticulously maintains a list of kings across generations.
