Overview

The Ostbevern Schützenfest 2025 took place as usual on the Corpus Christi weekend. Four days at the festival grounds opposite the Bever Stadium with a ceremony, king's shooting, coronation ball, and parade. The St. Ambrosius Civil Archers' Brotherhood once again celebrated its tradition, maintained since 1858.

In 2025, the Brotherhood held its annual Schützenfest in the usual manner. With over 800 members and permanent infrastructure on the festival grounds, the Brotherhood is excellently positioned to keep the festival vibrant even in times of social change.

The Münsterland region as a whole has a particularly dense Schützenfest culture — Ostbevern is one of the traditional locations. The Bever Stadium festival grounds have proven to be a central event site since 1997 and also offer space for club activities beyond the Schützenfest.
