Overview
The 2025 Schützenfest in Neuwarendorf followed the classic program: Saturday assembly in Walgernheide, parade, children's Schützenfest and Hampelmann shooting, festival ball in the evening. Sunday church service, morning pint, bird shooting at the high stand and crowning of the new royal couple, dance evening with DJ in the evening. Musically accompanied by the St. Georg Müssingen fife and drum corps and the Freckenhorst music association — an unbroken tradition since 1928, which continues in 2026.
Schützenfest Neuwarendorf 2025
In 2025, the Schützenfest also took place on the Altefrohne festival grounds — with assembly, parade, children's Schützenfest, and festival ball on Saturday, bird shooting and crowning on Sunday. The hamlet of Neuwarendorf celebrated its community spirit in classic Westphalian style with beer, Mettbrötchen, and exuberant atmosphere in the festival tent.
