Overview

The Neubukow marksmen's club's eagle shooting took place on May 1, 2025, following old tradition. 27 participants competed to shoot down the wooden eagle piece by piece. It wasn't until the 527th shot that the last piece fell — and the new marksmen's king was determined. The competition was accompanied by a social gathering of the club community.

At the Schützenfest on May 1, 2025, 27 marksmen and markswomen from the Neubukow marksmen's club competed against each other in the traditional eagle shooting. They took turns shooting at the wooden eagle — and it required endurance: the last remaining piece fell only after the 527th shot. Prizes were awarded for the individual parts of the eagle hit, and the most successful marksmen were honored. The day combined the sporting competition with the social club life and once again confirmed the eagle shooting as a firm highlight in the club's annual calendar.
